We are thrilled to present this remarkable collection of photographs featuring rock and roll icons, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles – all captured by Alberto Durazzi, one of Italy’s most prolific celebrity photographers.

Born in Milan in 1925, Durazzi (also known as Aldo Durazzo) began his career with Gazzetta dello Sport and the Farabola agency. After moving to Rome, he founded Agenzia Dufoto in 1956 on Via del Corso, quickly establishing himself as a chronicler of the era’s most influential figures.

During the Dolce Vita period, Durazzi documented not only the glamorous social elite but also pivotal moments in politics, news, and sports. His work appeared in major international publications, and by the 1970s and 1980s, he was a correspondent for the Times-Life group and National Geographic.
