Born in Milan, photographer Aldo Durazzi (1925-1990) initially worked for Gazzetta dello Sport and the Farabola agency. After relocating to Rome, he founded Dufoto in 1956. During the Dolce Vita era, Durazzi not only captured images of the social elite but also documented significant events in politics, news, and sports. He worked for major international newspapers and, by the 1970s and 1980s, became a correspondent for the Times-Life group and National Geographic.
