Gilda is a film noir (a cinematic genre) directed by Charles Vidor. Rita Hayworth stars as Gilda, a seductive woman caught in a love triangle with Johnny Farrell and Ballin Mundson, set in a seedy casino. The film became iconic for Hayworth’s performance and is a classic of the film noir genre.
